The Nd Yag Laser emits pulses of light on to the skin to heat the underlying
subcutaneous tissue.
This stimulates the production of new collagen and regeneration of damaged
skin cells, which continues to work for several months following the completion of a course of treatments.
Depending on the treatment area, the procedure takes from as little as 10 to 30 minutes. The treatment is comfortable and does not require the use of any topical angesthetic.
A very mild sunburn sensation may be experienced immediately after treatment and dissipates within 15 to 20 minutes.
Suggested number of treatments
Most patients report immediate improvements to the skin, whilst the tightening effects normally become evident several months later.
